Harry Fogg

Harry was born in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire in 1930 where he attended Stamford Boys School. He left Sheffield,   moving to Wales in 1966 and he now lives in Crickhowell with his wife. He has a married daughter who lives nearby with his three grandchildren.
Harry is completely self taught but was very much inspired by Lowry after seeing an exhibition of his work in 1947, whilst living in Manchester.
He first started to paint in the 1960s and then had a huge break before starting again in 2002.
Harry has a varied background , having been a butcher and Grocer to working at the Daily Telegraph within the
circulation department.
Local showings include Talgarth ,Three Cocks and Brecon.
