Janet Foster  is a local artist to Brecon living in Llanfrynach, a beautiful village on the outskirts of the market town of Brecon.
Janet studied photography under the expert tutorage of Professor Margaret Harker. 
After graduating and obtaining her associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers, she became photographer to the British Museum and lectured to degree level at The Regent Street Polytechnic (Westminster University).  Whilst bringing up a young family she took a further degree at Bristol University and for many years taught in schools in both Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire, including Haberdashers Monmouth School for Girls.
